Lori has been in the executive search industry for 14+ years, starting in 1997 as an Account Executive with MRI of Myrtle Beach, SC. She enjoyed tremendous success as a recruiter and was recognized for her achievements via several MRI Pacesetter trips and a distinguished Account Executive of the Month award for MRI’s North Atlantic Region. In late 1999/early 2000, Lori decided to buy her own MRI franchise, and Management Recruiters of Durham South was officially opened for business in August of that year in Durham, NC. As the President of Management Recruiters of Durham South, Lori embraced the philosophy that her Account Executives must be highly trained and operate at the highest level of ethical standards when working with client companies and candidates.

Specializing in the Electronic industry, Lori has placed a large number of candidates in executive positions (e.g., CEOs, COOs, CFOs), senior-level management jobs (e.g. Corporate and Divisional Department VPs & Directors, General Managers, Operations Managers, Sr. Staff Scientists, Controllers, etc.), as well as middle and lower level professionals - - she covers virtually every discipline within R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, HR and Marketing/Sales. Her Electronic industry expertise has been in passive and active devices, including a broad range of discrete and integrated semiconductor products, as well as electronic materials such as ceramics, conducting polymers and other hi-tech compounds.

Lori’s relationship with her client companies is founded in mutual respect, based on her commitment to complete ALL search assignments. Starting with a thorough understanding of the client’s needs via effective and timely communications with the Hiring Authorities, and having the ability to research the industry to find the right candidates to match those needs, her success in the recruiting world speaks for itself. Lori also believes that you must have the ability to visualize the job requirements and skills and successfully communicate these by way of a detailed Job Description for potential candidates.

Over the years, Lori has established lasting bonds with many candidates through her belief that their professional information is confidential and must be protected. As such, she insists that her Account Executives receive permission from a candidate BEFORE any information is sent to a client company. This philosophy ensures that the candidate has knowledge of the company and a thorough understanding of the job requirements before a resume leaves her office. The long term benefit of this belief has resulted in many referrals and endorsements of her staffing firm.

After 14+ successful years of recruiting under the umbrella of Management Recruiters International, Lori is now taking her business philosophies and beliefs down a new avenue by launching an independent executive firm named Global SearchPoint. Basically, all the same levels of professionalism, honesty and ethics will remain in place, and her service to existing clients will be retained. This move will enable her to become more flexible in managing different geographic locations and will possibly open up opportunities previously restricted by Corporate MRI. All within Global SearchPoint are excited by this new venture and look forward to continuing our successful recruiting services.
